Do not try any special menu items. The specials are more expensive and lower in quality in my experience. When people hear "special", they generally think better quality and price. I feel duped for wasting my money here.
Just got here from LA a few days ago and found this place right by the house I'm going to be moving into. Stopped by to grab a bite and a beer and loved it. Whiskey drink was great as well and grab a beer coozie for $1 off beers for liiiffee haha. Thanks Alyssa you guys were awesome.
Ten out of ten for some good old German food.
Sunday afternoon and looking for lunch. Come upon this awesome place. Austin and Mason was the bomb at welcoming us. The food and beverage was the bomb. Kudos to the chef as well. Definitely worth it:))
I have got the Wurst Burger 3 times now. 1 time was "Pittsburgh" style, like literally Black on outside and raw(rare) in the middle. 2nd time was better. Just went and received the same raw burger. They must have a new Kitchen Manager or something cause that place is going downhill.
Great food, but a little pricey.
Drove from Indianapolis for lunch Would definitely make this trip againGreat ServiceEXCELLENT FOOD EXPERIENCECuban Missile was Excellent - Slightly Pricey for Sausage @ 13All Time WURST Burger was also ExcellentOoey Goey Three Cheese Mac was filling and AMAZING Good size serving @ only 5 bucks
Decent food but lacked flavor and originality. Probably a good place to grab beers and watch the game. Cozy spot.
Loved the tater tots. After that...not so much
We stopped in for appetizers after my grandsons basketball game..the service was excellent and the food was exceptional we love it! Perfect location in the neighborhood and just a wonderful cozy place to visit
Awesome, huuuge, delicious, yummy. Try the cuban!
Great Beer. Great dawgs. Great Service...and they had cool acoustic music when I was there, too!
Best day of my entire life! All your dreams will come true if you come here. Go immediately!
Quiet. Good food.
Awesome sausages and great drinks. A cool place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon.
Number 1 bar in Mt Lookout, their creative menu changes seasonaly and has something for everyone. My absolute go-to in the square for quality food and drink!
Pretty good little bar in Mount Lookout Square parking is hit or miss on the street around the square went to see Joey from lift the medium play a solo show on acoustic and karaoke can be found on Friday nights
One of the best places in the square for lunch! Great staff.
Wurst service and food on the square. Entrees for our party come out over 20 minutes apart and several meals were missing components and cold upon arrival. The manager was flippant and refused to apologize. I wouldn't recommend Wurst Bar even as a last resort.
Very Casual; started with Mama T's Sausage dip, very good. Next is the Wurst burger, house made with Ooey Gooey Mac. Very excited to try this. Everything was awesome. Great place.
Have been here about 5 times and I usually am very happy with service ans food . we went last night and it was a cluster . found out the guy behind the bar wasnt even an employee and he was completely rude to the customers . I ordered and chop and they were out then I ordered a burger and they came back out and said they were out of that too. I think what I am mortified about most is the fact the guy behind the bar with a broken hand was handling cups and serving drinks and wasnt an employee . How do I know our drink cups were cleaned properly ? I emailed the establishment and they never responded me so I can say I won't be back .
Worlds best bar now closed for ever
Great atmosphere and quality food options.
Sherri the bar manager is excellent. The space is inviting and on point. Insane sausages and fries. Fun place, maybe I need to spend more time here.
Every time I go to the wurst bar it’s the same bartender Mike working in there. He’s the best, always makes you feel welcome and remembers my drink of choice
Nice outdoor seating. Food is on the pricy side and is ok
Pretty awful. The peppers and onions weren't carmalized, just maybe, sort of warm from a grill. The brat wasn't warmed all the way through. Chicken orzo pasta was bland. No fetta. Basically a chicken breast on top of a 1/4 cup of orzo drowned in oil.ice bath cold. No flavor. Super disappointing.to make it worst the pizza place next door isn't open at lunch. Going to make a PB&j at home
Best sausage in town. Ever changing menu keeps everything new and fresh.
The atmosphere is great, the food is amazing. The bar tender Michael is the best!!! I come in there a couple days a week and he’s always very kind and engaging and remembers my name. Make me feel very welcome. Great great job!!
Eclectic menu which was interesting and the food we got was great.
1 good experience and 1 bad one. Last time we were in the bartender completely ignored half the bar and our burgers came out wrong and burnt to a crisp. Will try again at some point but left a bad taste in our mouths (literally a burnt burger taste).
Michael the bartender was very helpful and very friendly. He helped recommend drinks and made me a loyal customer. I will make sure I come back when he works. Also the food is delicious!
My wife and I saw this on Burgers, Beer , & que on one of the food channels, and decided to try it out Sunday,5-15-16 for lunch. It was tremendous. Service was great, very friendly staff, and the food was killer. We had the vrooming shrooms, and mama T's secret sausage dip for appetizers. Out of this world. I had the wurst burger, and the wife had the u-betta goetta. The burger was so juicy. Truffle fries were also great. Will definitely go back, and this time bring friends.
Every time I come to Cincinnati I go to the wurst! I love it. The bartender Michael always makes it a great time.
Really small place, good service, creative menu, but the food was just ok.
Cool little hole in the wall. We just stopped in for drinks and they were made well and not over priced.
Excellent food, service and they allow dogs. Great place.
Ate here with the family for the first time after seeing it on TV. The wurst burger is awesome. The spicy mustard is great and I could dip everything in it. The kids had the flying pigs in a blanket and they were very good. The pretzel and beer cheese that came with it was very good.I can't find a bad thing to say about this place. It is a fairly small place so I could imagine this place filling up very quickly during their happy hours
Nice place. I tried their signature burger and it was very good.
Great sausage and beer selection. Have a veggie sausage too.
They have a full menu of gourmet hot dogs and other specialty sausage dishes. They also have a great dip as one of their specialty. The bar atmosphere is great, and it is right in Mt. Lookout Square.
The only place where the best is the "Wurst"! I mean everything they serve is good. I wish I had room for the whole menu? From the U-Betta Goetta to the Wurst burger the chili and so much more! Don't waste your time? Get to the Wurst so you can try the Best!
Never disappoints! Amazing food, FANTASTIC Service and a great local beer menu. One of our favorites!!!
I saw this place a few months ago and have always wanted to try it. I finally did and the only I regret, is not trying this place sooner! Absolutely amazing food! Their menu is decently sized and fairly priced. They specialize in the "wurst" food (Cheddarwurst, mettwurst, etc) but they do have burgers, salads, soups, and appetizers as well. Highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for some good food and craft beers!
Nice place in a trendy part of town but I was a bit disappointed because of cold and barely warm food. Not a good value for the money. If you try it I hope you fare better than we did.
Great bratts. I recommend the Moscow mule too.
Good little spot. Super awesome service. Food is great. If you are in the area, make it a point to go here. So much good stuff on their menu, worth many trips.
Great meal and experience tonight! Split a Wurst Cuban Dog & The Wurst Burger, both where excellent. The Wurst Cuban had an amazing andouille sausage on it, top with some righteous banana pepper relish and more. The Wurst Burger was as equally awesome, cooked perfect with a great pretzel bun. I don't want to forget Sherri and Alex, both provided excellent service, kept our glasses full with frosty cold beer and great conversation. Just a great place all around, people and food!
Little hole-in-the-wall bar/restaurant in Mount Lookout. My favorite part of the Wurst Bar is the back patio. Great for meeting friends for post-work drinks.
While relatively new to Mt. Lookout Square, I feel Wurst is now part of the neighborhood already. It's just a cool place to hang-out, watch a game or grab a drink.Good beer and mixed drink selection. The food varies between fantastic and OK depending on (I think lately) the menu at the time or the chef in back. Regardless, go with the favorites on the menu and you cannot go wrong.Be sure to check out the back patio for a large group or on a nice day. Ask them to put the game on the big screens and there you go.
